To The Earth- Tribal/Fusion Dance

Biography

To the Earth is a tribe of dancers and drummers based in Richmond, Virginia. Our goal is to investigate dance and drumming as collaborative art forms, mixing the concepts of American Tribal Style (ATS) bellydance with other genres and our own creative forces. The tribal fusion style we perform in includes Middle Eastern, North African, Polynesian, Indian and uniquely American movement and rhythm.
