"Tara Courtland is a Richmond native and refuses to leave because she can’t imagine living in a place that doesn’t feature Confederate generals and Arthur Ashe peacefully coexisting on the same avenue. She prefers photographing the city while lying facedown on the pavement – everything just looks better from that angle."
