Au Naturale by Diane Balister
Amazed by nature, the artist enjoys painting en plein air - feeling the sun warm on her skin or feeling a soft breeze. Attempting to paint water so that the viewer can hear the water move over rocks or sand, or capturing children running and laughing, or animals chasing or barking. Those things that make one pause and smile. Often there are figures or animals in her landscapes and street scenes. The beauty of the human body as it moves and flows is, perhaps, the ultimate beauty. A special tribute to her model Elizabeth who shared her beauty and graceful movements so that she could learn to appreciate true beauty. This Exhibit will be in the Centre Gallery East.
The Art of the Flower by Emma Lou Martin

Emma Lou Martin has devoted herself to enriching the art community of Richmond, Virginia with her involvement with the Uptown Gallery, her roles as a museum docent, workshop painting teacher, art consultant, and exhibitor. The exhibit will be in the Centre Gallery, West.
