Art Works kicked off the Holiday Season with the annual Day After Thanksgiving Art Shows, Receptions & Shopping Event for 12 hours. The main gallery was filled with live music performances, refreshments and special vendors with uniique handmade items skillfully crafted. This year the 50 and Below Gallery was opened where art gifts could be purchased for any budget.

Three Cities Paintings by Robert WinneRobert Winne exhibited at Art Works the week after returning from Baghdad, Iraq. While communicating with us from Iraq and planning his show, he remarked, "The heat here is like nothing that you can compare to…. Most days are in excess of 120 degrees. I actually found a small art studio this morning around where I am working that 5-6 Iraqi artists share. It was very interesting to see and talk with one of the artists that was there painting." Robert's work is a combination of acrylic and concrete, textured and color. The name of the show is derived from 3 cities which have influence his paintings: Richmond, London and New Orleans.
