Marta Downs - Painter

Marta works in watercolor, oil and mixed media. Her work reflects the serenity and beauty of nature.

She received her B.A. at William and Mary and did extensive postgraduate work at Virginia Commonwealth University as well as in other classes and workshops. Her teaching experience includes Hand Workshop, Henrico and Chesterfield counties, Pine Camp and Montpelier Fine Arts Center. Besides receiving many awards, she is featured in a number of regional corporate collections.
