Biography:

Donna Roberts has enjoyed photography since she was a young child when her grandfather gave her a Kodak Brownie camera. She has grown from taking photos of flowers in her family's garden to larger landscapes, architecture, and images of poor social conditions. Her paintings often combine images of beauty with the unpleasant, reflecting her observations of the duplicity of the world.

Donna's Christian background, degree in world religions, and consciousness of social injustices affect the subject matter in her art resulting in a glorification of God's creation, an applause for the architectural beauty of worship spaces, and also an admonition of man's cruelty toward one another and the earth.
