fun with us on the 1st and 2nd Saturday mornings at Art Works!
This
art program is offered to children in the neighborhood (and
neighborhood includes all of Greater Richmond)!

- Art Works
CAN program is offered to all children between the ages of 6 to 12
and the CAN TEEN program is offered for ages 12-17.
- Classes
are held the 1st and
2nd Saturday of each month, except as indicated in the registration
form,
when there are holidays (see the highlighted dates)
- Each month a
new project is planned and range from clay, mosaics, collage, book
making, weaving, painting and so forth.
- There is a
nominal fee for these classes.
The teachers
volunteer their time and supplies are provided by Art Works, the
teachers and other donors.
If you would
like to contribute to the CAN fund, we would appreciate it.
There is a donor jar in the main gallery or mail a check, payable
to Art Works (CAN) 320 Hull Street Richmond, VA 23224.

To
attend class, please complete the registration form for each child
and mail it to Art Works or bring it on class day and give it to
the teacher. All first time students must be accompanied by a
parent, guardian or responsible adult. We will show you the
project room, ensure that the registration form is complete and
you will be given a phone-contact sheet at that time.
- On Saturday
class days, bring your student to Art Works 4th Street door between
9:50 and 10:00 am. We will assemble all of the children in the
main gallery, take attendance, make name tags and then go to the project
room.
- You may stay
or leave. Please be sure to be on time for the beginning and end of
the class.
Please
do not arrive after 10 a.m. as there will be noone available to let
latecomers in.
